The Children's Museum

I took the kids to The Children's Museum yesterday and we had a blast! I usually have 3 kids in addition to my own on Mondays, but since we just had one little guy yesterday we decided to go out after school. The kids were so good and really enjoyed every aspect of the museum. Here are a few things that they did.

A rainy Sunday at the theater

This weekend we took the kids to see "Sleeping Beauty and the Beast" at our local theater. It was put on by the children's theater group and they did a fantastic job. Zeke and Harper really enjoyed it and will hopefully be involved in it someday.

Of course Harper had to have her picture taken with some of the cast members.

Put me in coach, I'm ready to play!

It is officially baseball season. This year Zeke is on the White Sox and after 3 games, he's doing just about as well as any other 5 year old I know. He is having fun, for sure, and I think his favorite part of the game is the snack at the end! So far, he has only gotten on base 3 times and has only made it all the way back to home plate once. Oh well, it's worth it to see him in his adorable uniform twice a week.

No. He's not stretching, this is how he plays outfield!

That's my boy!

A much needed break

We were lucky enough to get to go on a trip for spring break this year! We split the cost of a condo with another family and headed down to Carillon Beach, FL (between Panama City and Destin). The first few days were windy, but the end of the week was beautiful and the kids (and adults) loved every minute of it!
I always force Josh and the kids to get dressed up and take a nice family pic whenever we go on vacation.

The cutest little wedgie I ever saw!

They had so much fun together.

Falling in the sand never looked so good!

On the last day of our trip, the condo complex where we stayed had "Easter on The Beach." Zeke and Harper had so much fun in the bounce houses and on the inflatable slide. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny were also there.

This is my favorite pic EVER!

Harper followed the Easter bunnies around the whole time.
Funny Bunny glasses!
Zeke found the golden egg at the Easter egg hunt and won this HUGE basket of sand toys!
So we headed to the beach one last time and built this sand castle.

Cheeseburger in Paradise

I can't believe that my little cheeseburger is 5 years old already! Zekerbeeker is becoming a big Jimmy Buffett fan, and he insisted on having a Cheeseburger in Paradise birthday party this year. I thought that was a great idea, so we had an awesome party Parrotthead style!

Crash Holden

I'm not sure what Santa was thinking, but this is what he brought us this year. This is Crash Holden and he is the most adorable, lovable, slobbery mess you will ever meet. He is a royal pain in the neck, and every time I say the words "Santa, what were you thinking?!" he looks at me with this face.

It's definitely a love/hate relationship.

Long time, no see!

I realize that it has been a long time since I posted an update. I have left you in the dark on some of the most important events in my kids' lives, and for that, I apologize. Here are some of the highlights from the last few months.
Harper had her first dance recital before Christmas. The dance studio performs "The Nutcracker" every year around the holidays. Harper's class, The Jumping Jacks, performed in the pre show and danced to 'Jingle Bells'

Isaiah's Pre-K class had their Christmas program too. Although he didn't get to be "Jophes" again this year, we enjoyed watching him be a little star on stage.

Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Zeke and Harper are at such fun ages and they really got into the holidays this time. Harper was up and ready early, but Zeke was too sleepy.

Look what Santa brought!

A surprise visit from Santa!
Zeke and Harper's cousin, Ava, had a 50's Sock Hop birthday party this year and we got all dressed up for the occasion!

Wrestling season was a blast again this year! Zeke had so much fun showing off his new moves with his buddies.
