Cheeseburger in Paradise

I can't believe that my little cheeseburger is 5 years old already! Zekerbeeker is becoming a big Jimmy Buffett fan, and he insisted on having a Cheeseburger in Paradise birthday party this year. I thought that was a great idea, so we had an awesome party Parrotthead style!

Crash Holden

I'm not sure what Santa was thinking, but this is what he brought us this year. This is Crash Holden and he is the most adorable, lovable, slobbery mess you will ever meet. He is a royal pain in the neck, and every time I say the words "Santa, what were you thinking?!" he looks at me with this face.

It's definitely a love/hate relationship.

Long time, no see!

I realize that it has been a long time since I posted an update. I have left you in the dark on some of the most important events in my kids' lives, and for that, I apologize. Here are some of the highlights from the last few months.
Harper had her first dance recital before Christmas. The dance studio performs "The Nutcracker" every year around the holidays. Harper's class, The Jumping Jacks, performed in the pre show and danced to 'Jingle Bells'

Isaiah's Pre-K class had their Christmas program too. Although he didn't get to be "Jophes" again this year, we enjoyed watching him be a little star on stage.

Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Zeke and Harper are at such fun ages and they really got into the holidays this time. Harper was up and ready early, but Zeke was too sleepy.

Look what Santa brought!

A surprise visit from Santa!
Zeke and Harper's cousin, Ava, had a 50's Sock Hop birthday party this year and we got all dressed up for the occasion!

Wrestling season was a blast again this year! Zeke had so much fun showing off his new moves with his buddies.

A place where there isn't any troubles...

Have I ever mentioned that there is a Wizard of Oz obsession in our home? Well there is, and I completely forgot to post pictures of the most recent musical that we have attended. A few weeks ago, my mom and I took Zeke and Harper as well as my nephews Carter and Charlie to have a day of Oz fun. Speedway High School (from which I graduated) presented The Wizard of Oz (my favorite musical) and also hosted a Wizard of Oz breakfast! Of course I could not miss a chance to spend a day Wizard of Ozing with my kiddos.

Harper was in her element!

The weekend before the Wizard of Oz fun, we attended Peter Pan at Greenfield-Central High School. The kids had a blast there too and were amazed that Peter could really fly. They were very disappointed, however, that they couldn't even after Peter sprinkled them with pixie dust after the show!

Princess Harper's 3rd Birthday!

On Saturday, we celebrated Princess Harper's 3rd birthday! We started the day by taking our little princess to have her hair done for her birthday party. Our friend, Barb, did such an awesome job! All of Harper's friends and cousins (and even Mama) dressed up like princesses, princes, kings and knights and celebrated in her honor. Harper was such an adorable princess and was so excited about each gift that she opened. Although she wouldn't whack the pinata, all of the other kids had a blast doing so and we all enjoyed watching Harper's face as we sang "Happy Birthday" and she blew out her candles. What a very special day for such a very special girl!

Harper wouldn't hit the pinata, but she enjoyed watching the other kids smash all of the candy out of it!

Princess Tea Party

The night before Harper's Princess birthday party, our arts center held a princess tea party! I thought that was the perfect event to kick off Harper's birthday weekend. We got dressed up and enjoyed an awesome night filled with lots of princess activities. She had her picture taken with some of her favorite princesses, enjoyed a story told by the Fairy Godmother, had her hair glittered and even got her make-up done. She was such a good girl and we had an awesome time together.

Busy Busy Bees!

It has been over a month since I updated the Zeke and Harper page. That's only because we have been incredibly busy this past month. October came and went in the blink of an eye. It seems like we had something going on each weekend and most weeknights too!

We enjoyed the annual Riley Festival and parade in Greenfield. We finished soccer and football this month and started dance class. We watched the Cougars play in Lucas Oil Stadium. We spent a weekend in Harrison, OH to celebrate the many October birthdays in our family. We visited the pumpkin patch. We celebrated Harper's 3rd birthday with a Princess party! We have already trick-or-treated at G-CHS and are getting pumped for the trick-or-treating yet to come! That was our month in a nutshell.
